About these numbers

  • In Arizona, groups have to report spending for or against a candidate and name who it’s about. In the last two weeks they have one business day to do it, so this list stays close to current. Ads that don’t ask for a vote aren’t reported. When one ad supports one candidate and opposes the other, we count it once.
  • Campaign totals add up each transaction in the Secretary of State’s data and run through July 21. Third-quarter reports were filed Oct. 15 and aren’t added yet.
  • Outside spending counts the Secretary of State’s data as of Oct. 17, including spending from earlier in the fall that groups reported in their Oct. 15 filings.
  • Next report: Third-quarter report, covering through Sept. 30, 2026, due Oct. 15, 2026. We’ll update this page once it’s filed.
  • Governor campaigns file with the state, not the FEC, so these numbers come from the Arizona Secretary of State and are read by hand after each state deadline, so a new filing can take a few days to show up here. National groups like the Republican and Democratic Governors Associations report to the IRS; their transfers are listed when they appear in state or IRS filings.
